Graphite is a stylized roguelike RPG where the fantasy and wonder of a kid’s imagination come to life across the pages of his own pen-and-paper campaign.

Armed with nothing but scribbled heroes, borrowed school notebooks, household junk, and a head full of what-ifs, he builds a world to navigate grief, self-confidence, and growing up.

Here, pencil-drawn heroes embark on quests, monsters evolve mid-run, and divine prophecies unfold, all while the characters remain unaware they’re just figments of a kid’s mind. They believe in the story completely. And maybe... that makes it real.

The Story So Far

A world born of late-night sketches and ruled paper—where timing beats power, Death is coming, and the only thing more dangerous than fate is the one holding the pen.

A mysterious figure known only as The Scribe tells the heroes that the end is near and that they must be ready. In a desperate bid for survival, he entrusts seven heroes to grow stronger, gather allies, and confront what lies ahead..

Behind the curtain, a deeper truth unfolds.  The Scribe, is a kid, building a world from notebook pages to make sense of his own. The heroes he draws are more than just creations; they’re parts of him, forged to carry the weight of his imagination, his fear, and his hope.

Each hero has a distinct personality, backstory, and reason to fight. Their paths intertwine as they face choices, tragedies, and truths, until they realize the Scribe may not be as benevolent as he seems. And when each hero has taken their stand, one truth becomes clear: they are all part of something much greater.

Choose Your Own Adventure

Choose your path. Face the consequences. Throughout each run, you’ll draw illustrated pages from a tarot-inspired adventure deck. These narrated events present tough choices, influenced by your current party, items, and past decisions.

Will you chase the treasure, help the stranger, or take the hidden path?
Some choices reward you. Some come back to haunt you. Some… change everything.

Like the choose-your-own-adventure books of the past, these moments let you shape the tale—but only one path leads forward.

Timeline-Based Combat

Master the art of timing to achieve victory!
Combat plays out on a dynamic timeline, where every action takes time and every decision has weight. Read enemy intentions, delay key moves, and strike with precision.

• Use the Break system to interrupt foes and push their actions down the line… or fall victim to the same.

• With dozens of abilities, tactical combos, and enemy types that grow stronger over time, no two fights are ever the same.

Build Your Legend

No stack limits. No boring runs. Just endless potential with incremental roguelike progression. 

• Enemies and encounters are procedurally generated across runs, scaling alongside your progress.

• Discover artifacts, powerful, stackable items that unlock wild synergies and one-of-a-kind builds.

• There’s no stack limit, so go all-in on your favorite strategy—or create a chaotic combo no one saw coming.

• But Beware...Enemies can pick up artifacts too, turning every battle into a tug-of-war of tactics and power.

Play as the seven heroes, each with their own journey and resolution. Together, they’ll  rewrite fate, and confront the one truth behind it all:
