『theHuntr:Call of the Wild™』に、ハンターの親友にして狩猟犬のブラッドハウンドが初登場。傷ついた獲物の血の臭いを追跡するのに活用し、自分の狩猟スタイルに特性を合わせて、一生続く絆を築こう。ブラッドハウンドはどんなハンターも欲しがる、最も効率的で忠実な仲間だ。 鼻が自慢のパートナー ブラッドハウンドはとびぬけて優れた嗅覚でよく知られる。およそ3兆個の嗅覚レセプターを持ち、鬱蒼とした茂みでも簡単に血痕を発見できる。タスクの後に犬を撫でれば経験値が手に入り、これを使うことで仲間レベルは30まで、トラッカーレベルは15まで上げられる。一緒にハンティングをすればするほど、犬は効率的になる。  ハンターの親友 犬の集中能力は、プレイヤーが犬と共有する絆と直接繋がっている。褒めたり撫でたり、おやつをあげるといった報酬を犬に与えると絆が強くなる。1日の狩りが首尾よく終わったら、4本足の友達に愛情を示してあげよう！  唯一無二 犬に名前をつけたり、毛皮の種類を選んだり、特性を選べる。犬小屋に複数の犬を追加して、狩りに連れて行く1頭を選ぼう。トロフィーロッジや最寄りのアウトポストでの休憩時間には、アクティブ状態の犬が出迎えて安心させてくれる。  ブラッドハウンドにはオス・メス両方があり、毛皮は6種類。黒地に褐色の長毛、黒地に褐色のサドル模様、茶褐色地に褐色の長毛、茶褐色地に褐色のサドル模様、赤と黒の斑、赤と茶褐色の斑。
