「遥か原初の時代、そこには太陽はなく、世界は暗黒に包まれていた。ある日、天界がその口を開き、星々が「かがり火」のように漆黒の世界に降り注いだ。それが「エンバー」である。力強く、そして賢明なる古代ドルイド族、「Lightbringer」たちは、この光り輝く物体を求め、この星を彷徨った。彼らは、深い眠りの中で、「エンバー」を呼び起こす覚醒の儀を行った。その時、突然、世界は光に包まれ、暗黒の覆いは消え去った。エンバーは魔法の炎と光そして生命を具現化した存在であった。しかし、その恐るべき力の噂が広まるにつれ、彼らは狩られ、捕えられた…こうして、かの「エンバー戦争」が始まったのである…」 歴史書「Lightbringerの復活」より *ゲームプレイ概要* 10年以上の長きにわたり、信念をもって開発が行われたこの「エンバー」は、昔ながらのクラシックなロールプレイングゲームのオマージュです。「エンバー」には、奥が深く分岐するストーリーやダイナミックで生き生きとした環境、重厚なスキルツリー、精緻な生産システムが用意されています。崩壊間際のこの世界において、プレイヤーは「Lightbringer」として召喚され、死にゆくエンバーを守るために再び命を与えられます。Deep Barrowsの暗闇で目覚めたプレイヤーは、地上と地下に分かれた広大な世界を巡る旅に出ます。雨の多い密林や乾燥した砂漠、暗い奈落の底などの様々な試練を乗り越えて、光の街にたどり着かねばなりません。旅の道中で出会う人物たちとの会話でストーリーは広がります。運命を決める決断をするのはプレイヤー自身です。
